Recently, Mr. Nguyen Dac Luc, Deputy General Director, representing BITEX Company, and the VTV Humanitarian crew made their first trip in the 2026 “Accompanying Teachers in Overcoming Difficulties” journey in Tay Ninh province. The delegation visited and supported the circumstances of two teachers in the border area who are facing many difficulties.
The 2026 “Accompanying Teachers in Overcoming Difficulties” journey kicks off in Tay Ninh province.
The first case is Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Tuyet, a teacher at Nguyen Thai Binh Elementary School, Kien Tuong ward, Tay Ninh province. Throughout many years dedicated to the career of cultivating people, she has always been a devoted and responsible teacher, receiving the respect and love of many students and colleagues. Ms. Tuyet is currently facing acute leukemia (Acute Myeloid Leukemia TYPE M3) which onset in September 2023. After 9 rounds of prolonged chemotherapy at the Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, the disease unexpectedly relapsed in February 2026. The incurred treatment costs have exceeded the family's financial capacity. For the hospitalization period from February to April 2026 alone, the total cost exceeded 200 million VND, of which the out-of-pocket expense excluding health insurance was more than 66 million VND. The support from BITEX contributes to reducing short-term financial pressure, helping the family maintain the specific treatment regimen.
Ms.Vo Thi Ngoc Tuyet is a devoted and responsible teacher, receiving the respect and love of many students and colleagues.
Afterward, the delegation continued to visit the situation of Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Lan, a teacher at Nguyen Viet Xuan Elementary School, Tan Dong commune, Tan Chau district, Tay Ninh province. Having been with the profession since 1997, Ms. Bich Lan (51 years old) has dedicated 17 years to this school. She currently lives alone in a simple rented room, with all living expenses and medicine covered by her meager teacher's salary. In 2020, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent major surgery. The most recent routine check-up in December 2025 recorded the appearance of new cyst complications, requiring prolonged medical treatment combined with close monitoring. Long-term treatment on a background of chronic anemia, combined with living conditions without direct support from relatives, creates immense pressure. Despite facing the burden of illness and economic pressure while living alone, Ms. Bich Lan still perseveres with her work, maintaining a full sense of responsibility for every class hour. The 20 million VND support presented by BITEX is both practical material assistance and an encouragement that she is never alone on the journey of cultivating people.
Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Lan strives to overcome many life difficulties, persevering in her dedication to the border school.
Over the years, BITEX's “Accompanying Teachers in Overcoming Difficulties” project has left its footprints on many roads, actively seeking out and supporting hundreds of teachers with serious illnesses and special circumstances nationwide.
For more than 7 years, BITEX's companionship has not merely stopped at the material value of sponsorships. What creates the distinct value and humanistic depth in the enterprise's programs is deep empathy along with a transparent and responsible implementation process. The program actively reaches out to remote, isolated, and difficult border areas, where teachers not only fight serious illnesses but also struggle to overcome life's hardships to stick to their classrooms.
Support from BITEX is not only of practical material value but also a spiritual encouragement for teachers in difficult circumstances.
The enterprise's concern for the education sector is also reflected in a close and methodical cooperation model. All survey and assessment work of circumstances are coordinated among BITEX, local Departments of Education and Training, and the Humanitarian Television Center. This connection ensures that support resources are delivered to the right people at the right time, sharing the urgent worries of each teacher. Besides, spreading stories about the extraordinary resilience of teachers is how BITEX inspires faith, appreciation, and honors the teaching profession.
The program is not only a community activity but also a firm commitment to the enterprise's mission: Always looking towards education, actively sharing burdens so that the flame of knowledge and love for the profession of teachers is always preserved and shines resiliently across all regions of the country.
